The Forbes website has a high quality page layout according to the criteria. It has a consistent header and navigation, and a well put together footer. I would say the page is quite graphic driven and the title page is not informative about Forbes which can be seen as somethings than could be improved on.
Navigation area is nicely placed in the top right corner back lacks a home page button. It is also nicely organized into different categories that makes it user friendly. The navigation tabs also lack a bread crumb thay would lead you back to the section of the website that you just traveled from.
The Forbes website does very well in this criteria compared to the navigation area. The pages are typically white and black driven with the graphics bringing in vibrant colors for the contrast. This theme is consistent through all the pages.
After sifting through the website several times I found no video, audio, or flash files being in use. It can be said there was no download times on any of the downloadable items in the website.
Again the Forbes website does exceptional in this category. A common font is used, the categories are well placed, content is meaningful, no grammatical errors, a variety of web design techniques are displayed, and information is easy to find with a search bar.
The website has all internal and external links working properly. No error messages from pages and the site is responsive for different screen sizes.
